Nancy Morgan was minding her own business Saturday, doing the
things Nancy Morgan typically does on any Saturday, when at about
1400 local, the Hartselle (AL) woman heard something go "thump"
outside.
The University Aviation Association, in conjunction with the
Greater Morgantown Community Trust and the Hart Field Coalition,
Inc. (WV) has established the Dr. Paul W. De Vore Freedom of Flight
Aviation Scholarship. Scholarships under the program will be
awarded for initial flight training at airports with Federal
Aviation Administration 141 approved flight schools.
With the Federal Aviation Administration and the Government
Accountability Office predicting severe air traffic control
staffing shortages of up to 50 percent over the next decade, the
National Air Traffic Controllers Association has unveiled a new
advertising campaign to it hopes will raise awareness of this
serious problem throughout the country.

weather" related CAPS deployment has apparently resulted in a
successful save for Cirrus Pilot William Graham (65) and his
passenger Barbara Graham (64).
