"While over there, he and some patrolmen were going through
different houses and found some books on the Taliban and some
unexploded antiaircraft ordnance. Being ex-military and as the
military does overseas, they picked them up as souvenirs. He packed
them in his bag and flew back with them, like an idiot."
Source: Troy Lyman, whose friend, Shaun Louis
Marshall, appears in New York federal court Friday. Marshall faces
up to 20 years in prison if convicted on charges of bringing live
explosives aboard a commercial passenger aircraft. The real
question is, how did Marshall, returning to his home in Riverside
(CA), get those Soviet-made explosives and ammo all the way from
Afghanistan to JFK before being discovered?
