Rafael Davila, referring to his boss, the President of Ecuador, and reacting to an order from a judge suspending him from his position for refusing to issue airworthiness certificates to a firm operating Hueys put together with parts from decommissioned US aircraft. The aircraft and the company also failed to pass an inspection, with more than 20 squawks and violations of regulations and laws allegedly found by DGAC inspectors. Davila intends to remain in his job until the President says otherwise.
