Omega Air Refueling Tests Out Services on Falcons During Commando Sling 2023
The US Air Force recently used a commercial air refueler for the first time with a flight of F-16's near Singapore, bearing out the possibility of future reliance on privately-owned air tankers. F-16s from Osan Air Base refueled from a KDC-10 tanker operated by Omega Aerial Refueling services during Commando Sling 23, expanding the roster of airframes that have taken advantage of the firm's fueling capabilities. Air Methods Corporation, the self-styled "leading air medical service provider in the U.S.", announced court approval for the firm's restructuring plans. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas confirmed the Company’s prepackaged Plan of Reorganization, which will supposedly be complete in no time at all. Air Methods even believes they will emerge from Chapter 11 "before the end of the year". The plan was unanimously approved by both voting classes, prepetition unsecured noteholders and secured lenders alike.

The Sebring Sport Aviation Expo has "Sport" prominently featured in its name, and one of the fastest-growing segments of sports, and sport aviation, is drone racing. So it would seem to make sense that steps from the Sebring Speedway, drone racing was taking place at the January air show. Brian Morris of Team Multistar told ANN CEO and Editor in Chief Jim Campbell that there were about 110 of the fastest drone pilots competing at the show for a total prize purse of $20,000, with $10,000 going to the overall winner of the event.
Immediately After Turning East, The Airplane Seemed To Lose All Control
On November 22, 2023, at 1646 eastern standard time, a Cirrus SR22T, N17DT, was involved in an accident near Fairland, Indiana. The airplane was destroyed. The flight instructor and pilot were fatally injured. The airplane was operated under Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 as an instructional flight. A witness who was traveling eastbound on I-74 saw a small airplane to her left flying over a field southbound. The witness stated that the airplane was very low and looked stalled or as if it was hovering or hanging.
