OUCH: Van’s Jacks Up Pricing By 32%

Well... There’s Bad News And Some Not Quite-As-Bad News...

Van’s Aircraft is increasing most of their kit prices by approximately 32%. Online order forms will be updated with the new kit prices. Prices of individual parts and components will also be increasing, some more than 32%, and others less. While these price changes are significant, Van’s believes them to be necessary. In conjunction with these price changes, Van’s has also instituted new policies related to how they package and sell their kits. Moving forward, Van’s is standardizing kit offerings.

The Sebring Sport Aviation Expo has "Sport" prominently featured in its name, and one of the fastest-growing segments of sports, and sport aviation, is drone racing. So it would seem to make sense that steps from the Sebring Speedway, drone racing was taking place at the January air show. Brian Morris of Team Multistar told ANN CEO and Editor in Chief Jim Campbell that there were about 110 of the fastest drone pilots competing at the show for a total prize purse of $20,000, with $10,000 going to the overall winner of the event.
