The purpose of the Minnesota Seaplane Pilots Association is to: Promote seaplane flying and safety programs pertaining to seaplane operation throughout the State of Minnesota, Promote a forum for the purpose of approaching governmental agencies, to educate said agencies, the legislature and the public in the understanding of seaplane operation, and Create safe and compatible seaplane base facilities in the State of Minnesota.
Center Weather Advisory
An unscheduled weather advisory issued by Center Weather Service Unit meteorologists for ATC use to alert pilots of existing or anticipated adverse weather conditions within the next 2 hours. A CWA may modify or redefine a SIGMET.
“The federal mask requirement throughout the transportation system seeks to minimize the spread of COVID-19 on public transportation. Right now, about half of all adults have at least one vaccination shot and masks remain an important tool in defeating this pandemic. We will continue to work closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to evaluate the need for these directives and recognize the significant level of compliance thus far.”
