Airborne 12.04.24: 1st Flt-Integral E!, GAMA 3Q24 Stats, Heart Gears Up

INTEGRAL E, the all-electric version of Aura Aero’s two-seat aircraft, made its maiden flight on December 3. When the aircraft enters service it will reportedly have a flight duration of about an hour and will be able to recharge in under 30 minutes. Pilot... Was About 2,000 Ft Above The Ground When He Heard Two Loud “Booms” Followed By A Loss Of Engine Power

On October 31, 2024, at 1620 mountain standard time, a Piper PA-32-300, N154DC, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Prescott Valley, Arizona. The pilot was not injured. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. According to the pilot he was about 2,000 ft above the ground when he heard two loud “booms” followed by a loss of engine power. Glideslope Provides vertical guidance for aircraft during approach and landing. The glideslope/glidepath is based on the following: Electronic components emitting signals which provide vertical guidance by reference to airborne instruments during instrument approaches such as ILS; or, Visual ground aids, such as VASI, which provide vertical guidance for a VFR approach or for the visual portion of an instrument approach and landing.
