Abouzar Rahmati Charged as an Agent of the Iranian Government
A former FAA contractor was indicted on September 27 for acting as an illegal agent of the Iranian government, commented the US Department of Justice. Abouzar Rahmati has allegedly been conspiring with Iranian officials since 2017. He previously served as a First Lieutenant for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The 2024 World Ultralight Fly-In (WUFI) will be held on Saturday, October 12, and Sunday, October 13. Gogo Business Aviation has contracted 25 Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) for its Gogo Galileo HDX. These certificates add 18,000 global aircraft to the company’s business aviation market. Analysis: The student pilot was enroute at an altitude about 17,700 ft mean sea level (msl) on a crosscountry flight with a passenger in his high-performance airplane.
