As we reported last week, the Readington Township Committee has been pushing to use condemnation and eminent domain laws to take over the privately owned Solberg Airport, despite overwhelming opposition. On Wednesday of last week, about 500 residents and airport supporters attended a meeting of the Readington Township Committee held for the purpose of allowing public comment and Committee deliberation on an ordinance concerning embattled Solberg Airport. Joint Planning and Development Office

NextGen was enacted in 2003 by President Bush and Congress under VISION 100 – Century of Aviation Reauthorization Act (P.L. 108-176). Under this initiative, Congress created the Joint Planning and Development Office (JPDO) to manage the partnerships designed to bring NextGen online.
