Peyton Manning is joining Textron Aviation to promote the 2022 Special Olympics Airlift. The legendary quarterback has signed on as honorary chair of the event, encouraging aircraft owners to participate in the massive Airlift scheduled to transport thousands of athletes and coaches to the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games next year in Orlando, Fla. "The Special Olympics Airlift is an incredible opportunity for the aviation community to give athletes from across the country a memorable experience while getting to the Games," said Manning.

Oscar J. Schwenk, the longstanding Chairman of the Board of Directors, has decided not to stand for re-election to the office of Chairman of the Board of Directors this year. Having served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for over 15 years, the 76- year-old will hand over to his successor, Hansueli Loosli. The latter has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Coop and Swisscom and was awarded the "Entrepreneur of the Year" prize, among others, for his outstanding achievements in the past.
