AEA Reports 5.8% Increase In Avionics, Hardware Sales Over 2020

The Aircraft Electronics Association has released Avionics Market Report, a direct analysis on the state of the hardware, refurbishment, and avionic market. Overall, worldwide business and general aviation sales represented a 5.4% increase in total sales compared to the same time period in 2020, a 1.8% increase in sales sequentially from the second quarter of 2021. Bell Training Academy Now GI Bill Eligible

Helicopter Pilot Training Now Covered by VA Education and Training Assistance

Bell Training Academy has announced good news for former military service members, now that the Veterans Affairs office has approved the school for pilot training reimbursement. As part of the VA's Education and Training assistance, veterans who meet qualifications to receive GI Bill education reimbursement can apply to have all or a portion of their flight training compensated. The GI bill, established in 1944, has helped cement military service as a cornerstone of the aviation industry, significantly defraying the cost of education for millions of personnel throughout the program's history. Aquiline Drones (AD) granted Connecticut VFW Commander Lee Wilson with their scholarship to AD’s Flight to the Future online drone pilot training program, after his entry to a local fly-in event raffle. The former Gulf War Army Sergeant is a technician employed by the Department of Connecticut for the Veterans of Foreign Wars post 1926 in Rocky Hill. Collaboration In Industry, Government Could Pool Resources and Solutions

The NBAA joined a range of organizations and stakeholders, with aerospace industry figures from around the world, joining to call for a delay of 5G network rollout in the C-band until the safety and efficacy of the National Airspace System is ensured.
