DeltaHawk Engines has completed the simulation analysis of a new hydrogen-powered variant of its proven engine family. The testing evidently proved promising enough to move forward into real-world prototyping, using the brand's "highly adaptable engine architecture" with a range of up-and-coming hydrogen fuels. DeltaHawk sees their current design as an excellent host for next-gen sustainable power, offering "reduced development costs and time to market, as well as higher durability and cost effectiveness due to its more mature technology."

Turkish Carrier Doubling its Collection of 737 MAXes

SunExpress, a combined business venture of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa, went on a shopping spree for some more Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, signing a deal for up to 90 of the type at the recent Dubai Airshow. Turkey's "leading leisure carrier" will more than double its fleet into the next decade. The new sale agreement is firm on 28 737-8s and 17 737-10s. Options allow for up to 45 more 737 MAX family aircraft, should SunExpress choose to exercise them. That stands apart from their existing order for 42 aircraft, 9 of which joined the fleet already.

The Airplane Turned Through 540° And Reached 6,450 Ft Before It Entered A Right Turning Spiral Descent

On August 4, 2023, at 2117 Atlantic standard time, a Cessna 172M, N13384, was presumed destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands (USVI). The commercial pilot and private pilot-rated copilot have not been located. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight. According to a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) inspector the purpose of the flight was for the private pilot to accumulate additional hours for an instrument rating.
