FAA Changes NOTAM Acronym… Again

Learjet Veers Off Runway and Into Another Aircraft, Killing One

A private jet owned by Vince Neil, lead singer of Mötley Crüe, veered off the Scottsdale Airport (SDL) runway and collided with another aircraft. The incident killed one and left four others injured. The jet involved is a Learjet 35A registered to Chromed in Hollywood, which lists Neil as its director.

DSU Students Safely Execute Emergency Landing

Vulcanair V1.0 Runs Out of Fuel While Approaching Runway

Two Delaware State University (DSU) students executed an emergency landing after their Vulcainair V1.0 aircraft allegedly ran out of fuel. Though the plane nosed over in the grass, both occupants were uninjured in the incident. The aircraft, registered N186DS, took off from Delaware Airpark (33N) at around 9:00 am on February 7.
