Chicago’s Midway International Airport (MDW) was seconds away from a major accident as a FlexJet business aircraft taxied onto a runway while a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800 was landing. The airliner was forced to go around just 50 feet above the ground. The incident comes during a time of heightened awareness regarding runway incursions.
