The second Boeing 787 Dreamliner, ZA002, completed its first
flight Tuesday. The all-new airplane, which features the livery of
the Dreamliner's launch customer, ANA (All Nippon Airways) of
Japan, took off from Paine Field in Everett, completed a two-hour
flight and landed at Boeing Field in Seattle.

On July 31st, 2009, The C-5M, the newest upgrade of the United States Air Force cargo airplane fleet, arrived at the Wittman Regional Aircraft to celebrate EAA’s AirVenture 2009. The crew, composed of members from the 512th Airlift Wing Reservists, led enthusiastic AirVenture attendees through the ‘Spirit of Normandy,’ one of the largest aircraft in the world.

MC-21 Single Aisle Jetliner Will Enter Service In 2016
Rockwell Collins has been selected to provide avionics and pilot
controls for the new MC-21 family of single-aisle aircraft being
developed by Russian-based Irkut Corporation, part of United
Aircraft Corporation. The first of three aircraft variants is due
to enter service in 2016.
