A Beechcraft King Air with 11 people on board went down Friday shortly after takeoff from Dillingham Airfield on Oahu's North Shore, resulting in the fatal injury of everyone on the airplane.
The FAA has issued a notice of proposed rule-making (NPRM) to remove regulatory inconsistencies that have caused misunderstandings over the fact that medical certificates are not required for check pilots and instructors at commercial operations who perform their functions in aircraft, as long as they are not serving as part of a required flight crew.

Powered by H55’s electric propulsion system and manufactured by BRM Aero, the Bristell Energic is a 2-seater fully electric airplane to be used for pilot training and flight schools.
