Huerta Cites Safety, Privacy Concerns In Letter To UAV Caucus
The FAA has again delayed the site selection for flight testing of UAVs that would eventually lead to their integration into the NAS. Were Said To Be Traveling To Visit Family When The Accident Occurred
A husband and wife flying a Cherokee Arrow were fatally injured Monday when the plane went down near Canton, CT. The couple, identified by Canton Police as 73-year-old Donald Derocher and his 74-year-old wife Josephine, were reportedly traveling from their home in Florida to visit family in Connecticut when the accident occurred.
Aircraft Went Down In The Water Near A Fishing Camp In Ottawa, Canada
The pilot of a helicopter arriving at his brother's fishing camp about 50 miles northwest of Ottawa, Canada found himself in the cold water of a lake when the aircraft went down for unknown reasons Sunday. Fortunately, his brother was watching, hoping to photograph the landing, and paddled out in his kayak to rescue the pilot.
