uAvionix has been granted a new patent critical to safe and secure integration of UAS into the NAS. U.S. Patent 10,733,894, titled “Direct-Broadcast Remote Identification (RID) Device for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS),” it addresses the critical need for direct air-to-air transmission of UAS identification information without requiring intermediary infrastructure such as cellular, satellite, or internet connectivity.

Entrol Creates US Presence

Commercial Aviation FlightSim Builder Locates in Miami

Entrol, a manufacturer of FTD and AATD flight simulators, has announced the launch of their first US office in Miami, Florida, to support their growth in the American market. Entrol has been manufacturing fixed-wing and helicopter certified simulators since 2005. They build EASA approved simulators (FNPT II-MCC and FTD Level 2) and FAA approved devices (from AATD to FTD Level 7).
