SkyWest Makes Big Embraer E175 Buy

Will Be Operated With Delta Air Lines Livery

Embraer has sold 16 new E175 jets to SkyWest, to be operated exclusively with the Delta Air Lines network, under a Capacity Purchase Agreement (CPA). The contract is valued at USD 798.4 million, based on list price. Beginning in the middle of 2022, deliveries of the 76-seat aircraft will begin. Embraer's E175 series started with a stretch of the E170, entering service with Air Canada in 2005. The E175 typically seats around 78 passengers in a typical single class configuration, 76 in a dual-class configuration, and up to 88 in a high-density configuration.
