Airbus Plans To Fire A Lot Of People... Again

Tough Times Continue to Plague The Aviation/Aerospace Industry

Airbus is confirming plans to 'adapt its global workforce and resize its commercial aircraft activity' in response to the COVID-19 crisis. That's a polite way to say that a lot of staffers are about to lose their jobs. This is expected to result in a reduction of around 15,000 positions by summer 2021. Airbus reports that the commercial aircraft business activity has dropped by close to 40% in recent months as the industry faces an unprecedented crisis.
