Airbus Sells 4 A350 Freighters to Martinair

Dutch Cargo Line Makes the Jump to the Modern Era

The Air France-KLM Group ordered 4 A350F freighters for their subsidiary Martinair. The aircraft will be operated by Martinair Holland N.V., a Dutch cargo airline headquartered and based in Amsterdam Schiphol airport. The new planes will let the line retire its aging freighters and make the jump to a modern, efficient, and updated fleet of widebody aircraft.

JetBlue Pilots Nail 2-Year Contract Extension

Negotiations Nab 21.5% Pay Rate Increase Over 18 Months

JetBlue Airways have approved a 2-year contract extension after months of negotiations. The group, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association,(ALPA), "overwhelmingly" approved the extension, gaining them a compensation increase of 21.5 percent over 18 months. The deal will include a number of smaller monetary improvements. Ultimately, 95 percent of eligible pilots participated, with 75 percent voting in favor of ratifying the tentative agreement reached in December.
