Memorial Planned to Honor Fallen USMC C-130 Aircrew Members

Remembering Victims of Lesser Known Wars

Since 1965, eight Marine Corps C-130s and 43 Marine aircrew members have been lost—some two dozen in the 1960s alone. The pain of loss is borne stalwartly by the families and friends of the departed, individuals like John Keene, a resident of Richmond, Virginia, whose cousin, Captain Robert Wallis, perished in a 1970 C-130 training mishap. Mr. Keene was subsequently taken with the idea of commissioning a memorial honoring all of the Marines who’d lost their lives in C-130 accidents. Airlines Tell White House & DOT to 'Get Facts Straight'

Biden, DOT, and Dems Move Toward Re-Regulation of Airlines

Speaking on behalf of Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines and others, the airline industry trade group Airlines for America (A4A) has condemned a series of proposed regulations that the Biden White House alleges will promote competition among air-carriers. FAA Proposes $1.1-Million Fine Against United Airlines

On Monday, 06 February 2023, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposed the assessing of a $1,149,306 civil penalty against United Airlines for conducting revenue flights in Boeing 777 aircraft the agency alleges were not in airworthy condition. USAF Awards Electra $85-Million to Develop eSTOL Prototype

Mobilizing the Air Force’s Island of Misfit Toys
