"It was a miracle that no one was hurt. There was considerable
damage done to the plane and the car. The airplane managed to stay
steady on the roof at first. They probably couldn't have done it
that well if they had tried."

Klaus Schnarrbach, after a single-engine aircraft, type unknown,
landed on the roof of a speeding Porche taking part in a road rally
at a former US air base nearby. The aircraft apparently remained
perched on the roof until the driver, alarmed at the spinning prop
in his windshield, slammed on the brakes. That sent the aircraft
tumbling onto the tarmac. Luckily, no one was hurt.
