Peraton Pitches FAA For ATC Modernization Prime Integrator Role

With Fresh Perspective, Holistic Approach, And Mission-First Culture

Peraton announced its commitment to working with the FAA and is pursuing the role of Prime Integrator for the agency’s Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) project seeking to completely transform, update, and upgrade every aspect of the system to bring it into line with modern requirements.

The FAA initiative represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to truly transform national airspace operations to deliver enhanced safety and capability that Americans of all stripes – travelers, operators, and system personnel – can rely on to move people where they need to go.

Peraton maintains it is uniquely positioned to serve as the FAA’s Prime Integrator and will deliver a rapid transformation by bringing a holistic approach that does not have to rely on the performance of legacy suppliers or deal with bias in selecting technology options. And with Peraton Labs, formerly Bell Labs, it brings to bear hundreds of millions of dollars invested in its ability to apply the latest technologies, from AI to complex, secure communications to cyber and big data solutions.
