ANN: Sorry Gang, But April 1 Doesn't Seem Quite So Funny This Year…

Our Annual April 1 Edition Doesn't Seem Apropos In A Pandemic Year

Like all of you, I look forward to the day when all the woes of this horrific pandemic are well behind us, and receding rapidly into history. But, we're not quite there yet.

Normally around now, we'd be putting the finishing touches on our Annual April 1 Edition, and looking forward to cracking you all up with the zaniest stuff we can come up with. But again, we just really aren't there yet.

So… If you don't mind -- ANN's Annual April 1 Edition will take a hiatus this year.

We're pretty good at keeping our heads held up high in the worst of times, and finding humor even in the worst of circumstances, but we've had way too many close friends, family members, and folks that matter to us, hurt horribly by what's befallen the entire world.

Whether it be the people who lost businesses, thos who have to struggle mightily to keep one's head above water, or worse… The folks who contracted the virus and suffered for it, some of them even to final effect; well, it's just too darn hard to be funny right now -- and frankly our hearts aren't in it.

And yes, normalcy is starting to appear in little bits and pieces, the Fly-In season seems to be ready to start anew, and aero-businesses are preparing to rally back to strength…

And when that process is done, we promise you one hellacious April 1st Edition.

But; out of respect for all who suffered, all who were lost, and all those who were so adversely affected by one of the strangest years I've ever lived through, we're simply going to stand down from the crazy until the normal, the peaceful, the sane, and a LOT of healing can renew us all.
