B-29 Doc History Restored Tour Coming To Camarillo In October

CAF Southern California Wing Hosting Historic World War II Superfortress Bomber

The B-29 “Doc” History Restored Tour will be landing at Camarillo Airport (CMA) in California October 3-6, 2024 for a weekend stop hosted by the Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF SoCal). 1,644 B-29s like Doc were built in Wichita, Kansas, at the Boeing Company’s plant. Doc rolled off the assembly line 80 years ago in 1944. It is one of only two remaining B-29s along with Fifi that are airworthy and flying today.
