Flight Schools Being Regulated Like Private Colleges And Trade

NATA President James K. Coyne addressed California Governor
Arnold Schwarzenegger this week in a letter asking that the state
reconsider its inclusion of flight training providers in
regulations issued by the Bureau of Private Post Secondary
Education.
The pilot of a Beech Bonanza landing in gusty winds at Boulder,
CO Wednesday lost control of the airplane after one of the wheels
hit the ground hard. The plane was turned into wind and careened
through a nearby field, hit some street signs, and clipped a Toyota
Prius.
