New Certificate-Holder Says Refurb Hard To Tell From New

More than 60 years after its introduction in 1946, Bell last year transferred the type certificate for the Model 47 to Scott’s–Bell 47, Inc. This week, SB47 is showing its vision for the future of the aircraft at the National Agricultural Aviation Association Convention & Trade Show. The company is displaying a refurbished 47G-2A Agricultural Helicopter fitted with an Oregon Aero interior and Isolair spray system.

Pilot And Passenger Fatally Injured In Illinois Accident

The NTSB preliminary report from an accident in Crystal Lake, IL on the Saturday after Thanksgiving tells a tale that is unfortunately all too familiar. K-State Partners With Universal Helicopters

School Says Deal Will Enhance Helo Flight Training at Salina

Universal Helicopters will provide Kansas State University with two Robinson R22 Beta IIs and one Robinson R44 Raven II under a just-announced agreement with the school. "The partnership initially will bring in three helicopters and four full-time flight instructors, which allows us to better meet the flight training demands of our students," said Kurt Barnhart, head of K-State's aviation department.
