ASA Appoints Board of Directors

The Aviation Suppliers Association (ASA) has announced  the appointment of Debra Maier of The Boeing Company and Richard Levin of A.J. Levin Co. and as new board members to the Aviation Suppliers Association's Board of Directors.

Debra A. Maier is the Senior Manager of Spares Quality for Boeing Commercial Aviation Services in Seattle, Washington.  She's been in her present position for about 2 years.  She has been with Boeing for 19 years, 16 of those in quality assurance and the rest in engineering.  Debra is active in a number of not-for profit and charitable endeavors, and she will bring to ASA her considerable past experience leading those organizations.  She currently chairs Rally for the Cure (funds breast cancer research and treatment) and serves on the Board of Trustees for Wing Point G&CC, Bainbridge Island.
Richard N. Levin is Vice President of A.J. Levin Company, a distribution company specializing in the sales support of Airbus consumable material to the airline, MRO and OEM markets Richard holds a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering, and has more than 18 years experience in the aerospace industry.  More recently, Richard has been responsible for the transformation of A.J. Levin Company where the company has evolved from a Lockheed post-production spares support business to a franchise distributor for the leading manufacturers of Airbus related mechanical hardware and electrical spares.  The company has successfully emerged as a serious player in the hyper-competitive Airbus spares distribution business.

"ASA is thrilled to have the addition of Debra and Richard to the ASA Board of Directors," commented ASA's President Michele Dickstein. "Debra's extensive background at Boeing and in the spares market along with Richard's success in transforming A.J. Levin's objectives can only demonstrate to be an advantage to ASA's focus in the industry.  We look forward and welcome their expert input."

The Aviation Suppliers Association is a not-for-profit association dedicated to addressing the concerns of the airline supply business.
