Coming Up: Second Annual International Aviation Safety Forum

Blakey, Mineta, Others To Attend

The US Department of Transportation's (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Air Transport Association (ATA) will co-host the 2nd Annual International Aviation Safety Forum.

Who 

US Transportation Secretary Norman Y. Mineta, FAA Administrator Marion C. Blakey, and aviation industry leaders from around the world.

What

The forum provides the opportunity for industry executives, senior government officials, and global aviation leaders to exchange safety risk management information, seek solutions, and expand partnerships.

When  

Reception: Wednesday, October 19
Forum: Thursday, October 20 and Friday, October 21

Where

Reception: Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum, Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, Chantilly, Virginia, near Dulles International Airport.
Forum: Westfield's Marriott Conference Center, Chantilly, Virginia.
