Tanis and Reiff Join List Of Offerings

Hartzell Propeller announced new additions to its preheating product line for general aviation customers. The company now has available preheating kits from Tanis Aircraft Products and Reiff Preheat Systems. The Tanis system provides engine preheating with heated bolts and silicone pads. The Reiff kit uses heated coils and aluminum pads to heat the engine and oil sump. Both products are available for a broad range of 4- and 6-cylinder Lycoming, Continental, and Rotax engines.

On July 20, 2024, about 1140 eastern daylight time, a Cessna 208B (file photo, below), N1259K, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Youngstown, New York. The airplane was operated by Skydive the Falls as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 skydiving flight. The accident occurred on the second day of the Skydive the Falls Fest Boogie (Falls Fest) which the operator held annually at Windsor Airport (63NY), Youngstown, New York. STEM Sprouts Weekly Classes Begin This Fall

The Aerospace Center for Excellence (ACE) in Lakeland, Florida, has started a new program for preschool students called STEM Sprouts. STEM Sprouts is a 26-week series of classes that parents participate in with their child(ren).
