Montaer Finds Australian Distributor

Swish Projects Adds Sport Plane Options to Market Down Under

Montaer Aircraft has found an Australian distribution and sales partner in the form of Swish Projects Pty Ltd, building a footprint of aircraft sales and support as they continue to make a splash in the sportplane scene.

The deal will make Swish Projects the go-to for customer service and support for the Montaer MC-01 and MC-04, stocking local parts inventory, coordinating deliveries, providing after sales support, and pairing new owners with proper instruction. To help bolster the Montaer lineup down under, Australia will probably get 'dibs' on a handful of the company's new production slots. Montaer's recent expansion led to a brand-new 35,000-sq ft factory in Brazil. Originally, Montaer has been able to produce about 36 of its 2-seater MC-01 LSA, but its new lines will hopefully bump that output to about 48 per year. It's a fine time to jump aboard for Swish, given the MC-04's recent introduction.

“Montaer Aircraft’s authorized distributor will be the first point of contact for our new customers in the region, making it the most important relationship we can develop. James Fisher, Director of Swish Projects, first introduced himself to me at Oshkosh in 2022, and we have been in regular communication ever since. I have had the opportunity to observe the great work Swish Projects has done for other companies and their customers. Swish Projects is a clear choice to look after our customers in Australia and New Zealand,” said Shalom Confessor, Executive Director of Montaer Aircraft.

“This partnership is a great fit as we work to expand our reach and ensure our customers receive the best service possible in Oceania. Swish Projects’ deep industry knowledge and passion for aviation make them an ideal partner for Montaer.” Adds Mr. Confessor.“Partnering with Montaer is an exciting opportunity for us,” added James Fisher, Director of Swish Projects. “We’re keen to represent a brand that values innovation and quality as much as we do. The Montaer MC-01, MC-04, and the soon-to-be-released models offer great value, and we’re looking forward to introducing them to the Australian market.”

"We are confident that our partnership with Swish Projects will elevate Montaer’s presence in Australia and region. Their expertise in the light-sport and experimental aircraft markets aligns perfectly with our vision for growth. By working closely together, we can ensure that Australian and New Zealand pilots not only have access to our cutting-edge aircraft like the MC-01 and MC-04, but also receive the exceptional service and support that Montaer is known for worldwide," said Bruno de Oliveira, CEO of Montaer Aircraft.
