Tecnam Completes Delivery Of 12 Trainer Aircraft To The Hellenic AF

The Event Celebrated The Last Batch Of Delivery Of Twelve Tecnam P2002JF Low-Wing Trainers Delivered To The HAF

Tecnam has completed the delivery of twelve new Tecnam P2002JF aircraft to the Hellenic Air Force (HAF). The ceremony took place at the Dekelia Air Base in Tatoi (Athens), in the presence of the Minister of National Defence, Evangelos Apostolakis, and Italian Ambassador Efisio Luigi Marras.

Facing Familiar Problem Keeping And Retaining Pilots In The Service

In June 2019, programs were launched to ensure the continuing health of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and its ability to achieve mission success. These initiatives are vital in the face of an unprecedented level of global competition for the skills of pilots, technicians, highly trained aviation specialists, and support personnel. The RCAF is working on restoring and retaining levels of personnel experience and thereby ensure it is able to meet its current mandate and properly transfer skills and knowledge to the next generations of aviators.

Rapid Development And Testing Continues Through 2019

The U.S. Air Force and Lockheed Martin have successfully flight tested the AGM-183A Air-Launched Rapid Response Weapon (ARRW) on the service's B-52 Stratofortress out of Edwards Air Force Base, CA on June 12, 2019.
