Horten Aircraft plans to bring its HX-2 flying wing prototype to AirVenture this summer. HORTEN Aircraft GmbH was founded at the end of 2015 by Sven Lindig, Bernhard Mattlener and Hans Heinen. Meanwhile, Flight Design general aviation and Rotorvox are also part of the aviation brand LIFT Air with headquarters located at the Eisenach-Kindel airfield (EDGE). The name "HORTEN Aircraft GmbH" honors the visionary aircraft designer Dr. Ing. Reimar Horten (1915-1994), who is widely regarded as a pioneer in the field

Based on the success of their Osmo Pocket 3-axis gimbaled camera, DJI appears to be heading into the action camera market and taking direct aim at GoPro. Some in the industry are hearing that DJI plans to repurpose the technology used in the Osmo Pocket into an action camera with a wide-angle rectilinear lens that will produce a more pleasing image than a fish-eye lens.
