Luke AFB F-16 Accident Takes Life of Pilot

An Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 62nd Fighter Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, AZ, crashed about 12:00 p.m. Friday south of Alamo Lake, AZ. At the time of the accident, the F-16 was on an air-to-air student training mission. One pilot was on board and was declared dead on Saturday, after examination of the accident site.
