A new filing in a lawsuit brought by Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER) and Hawaii Island Coalition Malama Pono (HICoP) is aimed at forcing the FAA to finally adopt mandatory air tour management plans under legislation enacted nearly 20 years ago.
Agency Seeking Members For Women In Aviation Advisory Board, Youth Access To American Jobs In Aviation Task Force
Nominations for appointments to the Women in Aviation Advisory Board must be submitted to the FAA by October 29 and Youth Access to American Jobs in Aviation Task Force nominations must be submitted to the agency by October 30. The panels were announced by Secretary of Transportation Elaine L. Chao on October 9.
