Flying car manufacturer Samson Sky just received Reservation Position number 800, breaking records with customers in 24 countries, and 46 out of 50 states in the US. Reportedly, California currently has the largest contingent of owners, followed by Florida and Texas. The Switchblade is capable of flying up to 165 knots. The pilot of an experimental Jet Eze airplane was fatally injured last weekend when the airplane lost its left wing during a low pass over Covington Municipal Airport (M04) in Covington, TN. Among the vendors at AirVenture 2018 was EFX Applied Technology, which makes Interactive Personal Alert systems for use in areas where people might encounter unanticipated safety hazards. Company founder Stan Ross told Aero-News that the company's technology saves lives by "alerting people to invisible dangers."
