who says the board lacks the technical expertise to effectively
rule on transporation accidents. Goglia, the first-ever aviation
mechanic appointed to the NTSB, was the longest-serving member of
the board. He'll be replaced by a 33-year old Democratic staffer
from the Senate Commerce Committee.
