-- he's also an accomplished model rocketeer who builds, tests, and
markets several kits under the Dr. Zooch label. In addition to
video footage of flights gone right -- as well as horribly,
horribly wrong (grin) -- this page also presents an homage to "the
bravest of the brave" as they "venture into the dangerous new world
of space flight." The title says it all -- Ants On
Rockets.
"You can't keep your passengers on the plane for 9 1/2
hours. They kept saying 'half an hour more, 45 minutes more.' But
by the time it got to hour six, we were pretty much accepting that
we weren't going to go ... At least in the terminal, you can get up
and walk around."

Pacific Airways flight that was stranded on the tarmac at New
York's Kennedy International Airport for over nine hours early
Saturday morning. Pilots at JFK blamed several such incidents on a
shortage of deicing fluid at the airport, which forced planes to
stay on the ground due to safety concerns.
