Collins Aerospace Will Acquire FlightAware

FlightAware Will Join Collins' Information Management Services Portfolio

Collins Aerospace has signed a definitive agreement to acquire privately held FlightAware. Closure of the acquisition is subject to the completion of customary conditions and regulatory approvals. Following closing, FlightAware will join Collins' Information Management Services portfolio within the company's Avionics strategic business unit. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

ANRA Completes BVLOS Drone Delivery Project

The Company Partnered With Swiggy, India’s Largest Food Delivery Service

ANRA Technologies accomplished a 100-flight hour milestone while conducting Beyond Visual Line of Sight delivery operations in India. ANRA and Swiggy made history with their launch of the first end-to-end BVLOS drone delivery trials as part of a project last June. ANRA flew side by side with partner BetterDrones. Swiggy is India’s largest online food delivery system. The project concluded having flown over 350 sorties, transiting 1,100 kilometers of incident-free operations. NTSB Prelim: Air Tractor Inc AT-602

During The Forced Landing, The Airplane Impacted A Soybean Field And Came To Rest Upright

On August 4, 2021, about 1520 central daylight time, an Air Tractor AT-602, N455LA, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Mer Rouge, Louisiana. The pilot sustained minor injuries. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 137 aerial application flight. The pilot reported the accident flight was the 3rd aerial application load for the day, and the airplane was loaded with about 480 gallons of insecticide and fertilizer.
