Clifford Development announced an agreement Friday with
Innovative Solutions & Support, Inc. (IS&S) to provide a
certified Air Data Integration Unit to meet newly defined Federal
Aviation Administration (FAA) certification requirements for all
Williams International FJ44-3A engine installations. Combined with
the new FAA requirement, the IS&S contract will impact
development of the company's Williams re-engining programs for
older Cessna Citations.
Cessna announced Friday that Germany's Lufthansa recently
acquired four additional Cessna Citation business jets with a total
value of approximately $40 million at list prices. This order for
two CJ3 jets and two XLS+ aircraft is in addition to Lufthansa's
order for four Citation CJ1+ aircraft for its new pilot training
program, which was announced at the National Business Aviation
Association annual meeting in September 2007.
While Cessna's C-162 SkyCatcher was first shown to the public as a Rotax powered vehicle, the ultimate powerplant selection by Cessna dictated that the front end be filled by a powerplant well-known to Cessna flyers the world over -- the Teledyne Continental O-200... and not just any O-200, but a new variant, this one lighter and updated to current needs, called the O-200D.

On Thursday, Bell Helicopter announced the recent sale to Global
Vectra Helicorp Ltd. (GVHL) in Mumbai of two Bell 412s, increasing
their fleet to 22 Bell 412s. GVHL continues to be one of the
fastest growing helicopter operating companies in India.
