Breeze Confirms Larger Order With Airbus

The New Airline’s First Ever Flight Will Be In The A220

Breeze Airways reveals that it has reached a purchase agreement with Airbus for 20 more of the Airbus A220-300. This brings the total number of the aircraft to 80, which are expected to be delivered by the end of the year. Airbus plans to deliver one aircraft per month to Breeze over the next six-and-a-half years, and the airline plans to begin flying with the new aircraft mid 2022. Breeze plans to provide nonstop service between underserved routes across the U.S. at affordable fares. The airline started its operations in May 2021. This first A220 is the first new aircraft that will be operated by the airline.
