$1.5 Million Donation Seeks To Enhance Diversity Efforts
American Airlines has made a donation of $1.5 million to the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP) Luke Weathers Flight Academy during the organization’s 46th annual conference. American served as the title sponsor of OBAP's 46th annual conference, which included several notable industry speakers, aerospace professional development workshops, and networking opportunities. “Our strength lies in having a team, especially pilots, that represent the diverse communities we serve,” said American CEO Robert Isom.
