The American Aviator Act Would Help Pay For Flight Training For Veterans
A bipartisan bill introduced in the U.S. Senate would establish flight-training services to assist veterans who want to become commercial airline pilots. The American Aviator Act, which was introduced by Senators John Hoeven (R-ND) and Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), will authorize grants through the FAA to support training opportunities for veterans who are not already military pilots.
