WestJet has unveiled its refreshed brand including a national advertising campaign, its first three international Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner routes and a new Platinum WestJet Rewards tier at an event in downtown Calgary. Installing Company's High-Performance, Lithium-ion Batteries On DHC-8 Aircraft
Ravn Alaska is installing True Blue Power TB44 (46 amp-hour) Advanced Lithium-ion Batteries on its DeHavilland DHC-8 aircraft. Ravn will install TB44 batteries during routine C-check maintenance operations throughout 2018. The battery outperforms existing nickel-cadmium (NiCad) and lead-acid alternatives, delivering more power, significantly less weight, increased safety, longevity and reduced maintenance costs.
