Agreements Provide A Viable Cost Structure And Path Out Of Chapter 11
Pinnacle Airlines Corp. announced Wednesday that the comprehensive agreements it reached with Delta, the Air Line Pilots Association, International (ALPA) and the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors (Creditors' Committee) in Pinnacle's Chapter 11 cases have been approved by the Bankruptcy Court overseeing Pinnacle's cases.

The result was a gooey dark residue left behind that suggests a different malfunction than last week's battery fire in a 787 at Boston's Logan International Airport.
Launched By Air France, Product Cuts Cost Of Upgrades For Airlines With Mixed Fleets And Avionics
Air France will deploy Boeing EFB system software on their 747-400 fleet in the second quarter of 2013, Boeing announced Tuesday. This is the first Boeing software solution designed to work on third-party Class 2 hardware, already used extensively at Air France. The ability to have a common EFB look and feel across an airline's entire fleet, regardless of EFB hardware provider, provides airlines with significant operational savings.
Maintenance Hangar At Newark Liberty International Airport To Be Complete By Year's End
United Airlines this week broke ground on a new widebody aircraft maintenance hangar at Newark Liberty International Airport. The airline, which is investing more than $25 million in the 90,000 square foot facility, expects to complete construction by year end.
