The FAA is requiring Operation Migration to acquire new airplanes to lead endangered whooping cranes from their summer range to Florida for the winter in coming years, and the pilots flying those airplanes will have private pilot licenses. But, the FAA is giving the non-profit until April of next year to accomplish the changeover! Boeing has launched the 787-10 Dreamliner.
