Eight British Terror Suspects Appear In Court

Teen Accused Of Aiding In Attack Plot

Eight of the 11 people charged so far in that failed plot to blow up transatlantic commercial flights appeared in a British court on Tuesday, where the the charges against them were read aloud.

Tanvir Hussain, Ahmed Abdullah Ali, Umar Islam, Arafat Waheed Khan, Assad Ali Sarwar, Adam Khatib, Ibrahim Savant, and Waheed Zaman were charged with conspiracy to murder, and preparing acts of terrorism.

The eight were arrested during raids after August 10th... as British authorities say they intercepted the plan to use combinable liquid explosives to destroy ten flights from the US to the UK at virtually the same time.

Bloomberg reports another suspect, a 17-year old boy, also appeared before the magistrate in the City of Westminster Court. He's accused of having a book on explosives, suicide notes from some of the suspects... and wills of those who were prepared to make martyrs of themselves on board those trans-Atlantic flights.

Two other men were charged with failing to disclose information about the other suspects.

Bond was denied for all those in court today. Eleven more suspects are still behind bars, and still awaiting charges... as the British investigation continues.
