Annual FAA UAS Symposium To Be Held In Baltimore

Industry And Regulatory Stakeholders Come Together June 3 To 5 To Discuss Innovation, Safety In Unmanned Aircraft Industry

The FAA will partner with the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) to host the fourth annual Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Symposium on June 3 to 5, 2019 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

The event, which is rescheduled for these dates after being postponed earlier this year, will bring together stakeholders from all sectors to discuss the rules and concepts that will govern the future of drone operations.

According to the event website, registering and flying your drone has never been easier—or safer. The FAA has cut the red tape and increased efficiencies by streamlining our processes and providing online access to them. Learn all about how we’ve increased our customer service efforts through live, interactive webinars, video tutorials, and social media.

The symposium will feature the "buzz" about what’s next in drone technology and what it means for the future of flight. As urban air mobility, package delivery and beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS) operations are taking off, the FAA is making continuous progress toward safely integrating drones into the National Airspace System. Learn what is happening that will help you conduct more complex operations that will bring economic growth to your business and our communities

At the 2019 FAA UAS Symposium, attendees will examine how industry and regulators are working together to establish partnerships and identify the responsibilities, education and tools needed for safe and successful integration of UAS into the national airspace.

There will also be sessions on the latest topics in UAS, such as urban air mobility, package delivery and beyond line-of-sight operations.
