Aspen Avionics Honored By New Mexico Business Weekly

Company Presented With Publication's Technology Award

John Uczekaj, Aspen’s President and CEO, and Peter Lyons, Aspen’s co-founder and Vice President of Product Management, will be recognized by New Mexico Business Weekly’s when the publication presents its annual "Who’s Who in Technology" award. The ceremony will pay tribute to 28 honorees selected by a panel of local technology veterans.

John Uczekaj

“At Aspen we work hard to stay on the cutting edge of avionics technology,” says Uczekaj, “and these efforts are fueled by the entrepreneurial spirit that started this company.”

Much of Aspen’s initial success can be attributed to the leadership team’s focus on a capital investment strategy as well as a commitment to maintaining viability in the certified avionics marketplace. “Building certified avionics systems is not for the faint of heart,” says Lyons, “and so we continually find ways to meet the challenges, and yet stay true to our core values.”

Peter and John both bring decades of industry experience to the company, having left the corporate career path to invest their talents into a new idea that has taken the avionics industry by storm. They are both active pilots and fly their Aspen-equipped aircraft as often as possible.
